Breast Augmentation

Enhances breast size and shape using implants or, in select cases, your own fat tissue, for natural-looking fullness.

Breast augmentation enhances the size and shape of the breasts using implants or, in select cases, your own fat (fat transfer), for natural-looking fullness and improved proportion. It's one of the most requested and refined procedures in aesthetic surgery, and modern options make it highly customizable to your body and goals.

Dr. Marciales guides you through implant type, size, shape, and placement — or a fat-transfer approach — to achieve a result that suits your frame and looks and feels natural. The aim is balance and confidence, never an obvious "operated" look.

Is It Right for You?

Am I a Candidate?

Good candidates want more breast fullness or better proportion, or wish to restore volume lost after weight change, pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Healthy non-smokers with realistic expectations and fully developed breasts are ideal.

Why Patients Choose It

The Benefits

What to Expect

The Procedure

Through a discreet incision (commonly in the breast crease), Dr. Marciales creates a precise pocket and places the implant either behind the breast tissue or partly under the chest muscle, depending on your anatomy and goals. Implant type, shape, and size are chosen with you in advance.

Where modest, natural enhancement is the goal and you have donor fat, augmentation with your own purified fat (fat transfer) may be an option. Surgery takes one to two hours under general anesthesia at the accredited facility within New City Medical Plaza.

Before Surgery

How to Prepare

Healing, Week by Week

Your Recovery Timeline

First week

Expect tightness, swelling, and soreness across the chest, eased with medication. You'll wear a supportive bra and rest, avoiding lifting and overhead reaching. Many patients feel notably better by the end of the week.

Weeks 2–3

Discomfort settles and many return to desk work and light activity. Continue the support bra and avoid strain and chest exercise.

Weeks 4–6

Activity resumes gradually with clearance. The implants begin to settle into a softer, more natural position ('drop and fluff').

Months 2–6

Swelling fully resolves, the breasts settle into their final shape and position, and scars begin to fade.

The Outcome

Your Results

Your new fullness is visible immediately, but the breasts need time to settle: implants soften and drop into a natural position over the first few months, with the final result at three to six months. Scars fade over the first year.

Modern implants are long-lasting; they are not always considered lifetime devices, and your breasts continue to change with age, weight, and pregnancy.

Investment

Cost & Personalized Quote

Breast augmentation is quoted individually because it depends on the implant type and technique (or fat transfer) and whether a lift is combined. After your consultation you'll receive a clear, written quote.

Breast Augmentation FAQ

Implants or fat transfer — which is right for me?

Implants offer the most predictable, significant enhancement; fat transfer gives a modest, natural increase using your own tissue if you have donor fat. Dr. Marciales helps you choose based on your goals and anatomy.

How do I choose the right implant size?

During your consultation you'll discuss your goals and try sizers, and Dr. Marciales recommends what suits your frame for a natural, proportionate result — not just a number.

Will I be able to breastfeed afterward?

Many women can breastfeed after augmentation, though it can't be guaranteed. Discuss your plans with Dr. Marciales so the approach can account for them.

Are breast implants permanent?

Implants are long-lasting but not always lifetime devices; some patients have them adjusted or replaced years later. Your breasts also continue to change with age, weight, and pregnancy.

Where are the scars?

The incision is placed discreetly — most commonly in the breast crease — where the scar is hidden and fades over the first year.

When can I exercise again?

Light activity resumes within a week or two; chest and upper-body exercise is reintroduced gradually, usually around four to six weeks with clearance.
