What to do before your procedure?

What can I expect from a buttock augmentation procedure?

• Buttock augmentation by lipotransfer: if you do not want to use implants or prostheses, a completely natural result can be obtained using the patient’s own fat while the figure is reshaped through liposuction. Fat is typically harvested from the hips, abdomen, back, or thighs. This technique is especially recommended in patients who have suffered considerable weight loss, with flattening and sagging of the skin.
• Buttock augmentation with hyaluronic acid: this technique consists of injections of hyaluronic acid in the buttock area, with which a moderate size increase is obtained. It is performed under local anesthesia and its results are temporary.

Post operation:

A series of rules must be followed so that the scar remains stable and the prosthesis does not move or cause asymmetries

• The first two days are spent in the clinic, face down.
• Once both days have passed, it will be possible to get up, but you should not sit for longer than is essential.
• You have to sleep on your stomach for at least two weeks.
• Avoid physical exercise involving the buttocks for at least five or six weeks. 

What are the risks?

All surgery has its risks. You will get bruises or infections if you don’t follow the recommended treatment.

If there is a dislocation or movement of the prosthesis, especially downward, an intervention is performed to put it in place, and special medical wires or orthopedic nets are added.
